Champions League: Depleted PSG Thrash Madrid As Juventus Surrender Lead Against Atletico

Despite missing stars like Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain still went on to thrash Real Madrid 3-0, in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Group A game in France.
 
Angel Di Maria scored two goals in the 14th and 33rd minutes, to put PSG 2-0 ahead.
 
 
Madrid had the chance to reduce the deficit in the 35th minute but Gareth Bale missed from the penalty spot.
 
And in the 90th minute, Thomas Meunier made it 3-0.
 
At the Wanda Metropolitan in Group D, Atletico Madrid came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against visiting Juventus.
 
The Serie A giants raced to a 2-0 through Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi in the 48th and 65th minutes respectively.
 
But goals from Stefan David (70 minutes) and Stefan Savic Hector Herrera  (90th minute), helped Atletico draw the game.
 
And in Greece, Tottenham Hotspur, playing in Group B, surrendered a 2-0 lead to settle for a 2-2 draw against Olympiacos.
 
Spurs went 2-0 ahead thanks to goals from Harry Kane in the 26th minute from the penalty spot and Lucas Moura just four minutes after the opening goal.
 
 
One minute before the end of the first half, Olympiacos scored through Daniel Podence to bring the score to 2-1 while Mathieu Valbuena completed the comeback on 54 minutes.
 
Other results saw Manchester City thrash Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0, Bayern Munich beat Red Star 3-0, Club Brugge and Galatasaray played 0-0, Lokomotive Moscow beat Leverkusen 2-1 and Dinamo Zagreb thrash Atalanta 4-0.
