Spanish side, Valencia, have reportedly put their key players on sale, in a bid to raise money, due to the devastating effect of the coronavirus pandemic on the club’s finances.
According to Spanish newspaper, Marca, the club have been hit hard financially by the global health crisis, and need to “make some cash” by selling players on “big salaries”.
The La Liga club have already sold Ferran Torres, 20, to Manchester City, for £37million last week.
They have also sold midfielder, Francis Coquelin, 29, to rivals, Villarreal, with the club’s captain, Dani Parejo, set to move in the same direction.
The publication said the club’s new boss, Javi Gracia, who was appointed at the end of July, has been told that any of his players could be sold.
The former Watford coach is expected to only keep potential captain, Jose Gaya, who is also linked with a move to Barcelona.
