‘COZA Paid Us N10,000 Each To Counter Anti-Fatoyinbo Protesters’

Some local men have said they were paid N10,000 each to counter the ongoing protest against COZA’s Biodun Fatoyibo, in Abuja, who was accused or raping Busola Dakolo.

On Sunday morning, protesters stormed the Abuja headquarter of the church to stage a peaceful protest at the church vicinity.

However, the protest was disrupted after a group of local men showed up to counter the protest and pledging their support for Fatoyinbo.

When asked about their mission, the protesters excitedly told journalists on camera they were offered N10,000 to stage pro-Fatoyinbo protest in Abuja.

One protester said, “Money is talking! Money is talking!”

The hired thugs were also given soft drinks to infiltrate the group of protesters.

The #ChurchToo movement is holding simultaneous protest at COZA churches in Lagos and Abuja after Busola Dakolo detailed how Fatoyinbo allegedly raped her at 17-year-old.

Although he denied the allegation, the pastor has been widely criticised, with some Nigerians on Twitter asking him to step down.
