The woman who sued US singer, Trey Songz accusing him of assaulting her at a NBA All-Star Weekend party has dropped her legal battle.
The Blast reports that Andrea Buera informed the court she is dismissing all claims against Songz whose real name is Tremaine Neverson.
She dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning it can’t be filed again. Songz was represented by powerhouse attorney, Shawn Holley.
Last year, Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) was sued by a woman named Andrea Buera.
She accused the “Bottoms Up” singer of assaulting her at a party in the Hollywood Hills, during NBA All-Star Weekend. She claimed he became enraged after she talked to one of his friends.
Songz demanded the case be thrown out, arguing self-defense.
The singer said that he is not responsible for any harm suffered by Andrea Buera, the woman suing him. He says during the alleged incident he “reasonably believed Plaintiff was going to harm him and any force he used was only the amount reasonable necessary to protect himself.”
