Don’t Kill Anybody At Kanu’s Parents’ Funeral, Fani-Kayode Pleads With Buhari

Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to allow Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to bury his parents in peace.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the former minister begged Buhari not to spill the blood of mourners at the ceremony, saying the dead deserve to be buried in peace and honour.

Fani-Kayode also questioned the rehabilitation of and eventual reintegration of 30 suspected Boko Haram terrorists. He said the President by his actions has shown his love for bloodshed and violence, saying it could be that he gets his power from the blood of the innocent.
