DSS Arraigns Rivers SSG, APC Leader For Poll Disturbance

The Department of State Security, DSS, is prosecuting Kenneth Kobani and Azubuike Chikere Wanjoku, secretary to the Rivers State Government, and a chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC )in Ikwerre local government area of the state,  respectively for causing disturbances during the last election rerun in the state. The two men were arraigned before Justice Liman Mohammad of Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers state, on Tuesday. Kobani was accused of blocking the entrance to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Port Harcourt during the election, while Azubuike was alleged to have bribedone Kingsley Osifu, the Ikwerre INEC Electoral Officer.
