Eagles’ Ighalo Named In AFCON Best XI

Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, has been named in the best team of the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The 30-year-old was the only Nigerian considered good enough to be named in a team dominated by Senegalese and Algerians.

The Shanghai Shenhua of China striker scored five goals to beat Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez, who both scored three goals, to the golden boot of the tournament.
