The Super Eagles have been placed in Group E with South Africa, Libya and Seychelles in the qualifying series for the 2019 African Cup of Nations billed for Cameroon. The draw was done by the CAF Executive Committee on Thursday, 12 January in Libreville, Gabon.
According to CAF, the winners of each group qualify for the championship plus the best three runners-up in all groups.
The Eagles will be hoping to overcome South Africa this time after they stopped them from qualifying for the 2015 edition after a 2-2 draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
