Edo Lawmaker’s Mum Runs Away From Captivity – Police

A woman Abibat Adjoto believed to have been kidnapped last Thursday has escaped from her captivity, police said. The sixty-eight-year-old woman is the mother of Edo assembly lawmaker Kabiru Adjoto. The woman’s alleged escape on Saturday was reportedly confirmed by Osifo Abiodun, who speaks for the Edo Police Command. The details of how she found her out of the kidnappers’ den was however not told. Also, no mention was made of a man said to have been abducted along with her at their residence in Ikakumo village, in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of the state. The other man was reputed to be her adopted son.
