Nigeria’s men basketball team, D’Tigers, have been drawn in Group B with Russia, South Korea and Argentina at this year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup in China.
The draws which was done on Saturday, was announced by FIBA on their verified Twitter handle.
Africa’s other representatives, Cote d’Ivoire, Angola, Tunisia and Senegal, also got to know their group opponents.
Cote d’Ivoire are in Group A with host China, Venezuela and Poland, Group C has Tunisia, Spain, Puerto Rico and Iran.
Angola will face Philipine, Italy and Serbia in Group D while Senegal will battle Lithuania, Canada and Australia in Group H.
This year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup will start on August 31 and end on September 15.
