Fire Outbreak Disrupts Flight Operations At Port Harcourt Airport

A fire outbreak on the runway of the Port Harcourt International Airport has disrupted flight operations on Saturday.

Reports say the fire prevented a Dana plane from landing after it arrived from Abuja. It had to return to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Also, a Max Air flight could not take off while an Arik Air plane had to return to base due to the inferno.

The Punch reports that the fire is a bush fire, adding that the airport would be open soon.
