Fuel Hike: NLC Issues Two-week Ultimatum To FG

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has issued a two-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to reverse the hikes in electricity tariff and the fuel pump price or face civil protest nationwide.

The union handed down the warning at its  Central Working Committee meeting on Wednesday.

In a communiqué read by the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, the union said it would mobilize its members nationwide for protest after 28 September should the Federal Government fail to reverse the price hike of both electricity and fuel.
