1. Breaking News: @OfficialPDPNig and @atiku/@PeterObi’s witnesses attacked by unknown gunmen. Information reaching us is to the effect that, witnesses that were supposed to testify at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal for the PDP today were attacked by unknown gunmen— Official PDP Nigeria (@OfficialPDPNig) July 12, 2019
The party said its counsel, Livy Uzuokwu, had informed the court forcing Justice Mohammed Garba, to adjourn hearing until Monday July 15, 2019.
The party however failed to state details of the attack.
The PDP and Atiku are seeking to prove that the latter is the rightful winner of the election, which gave Buhari a second term.
They had claimed, in earlier hearings, that the result purportedly transmitted a server by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had showed that Atiku defeated Buhari in the elections.
