Some half naked women have stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja to protest the continued detention of Omoyele Sowore, convener of the proposed Revolution Now protests, by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday.
The women, from Sowore’s birthplace, Kiribo in the Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the Ondo State, arrived the court in white wrappers and bra but had no clothes on the upper parts of their bodies.
The protesting women were not allowed entry into the court premises. They stayed by the gate bearing their placards with various inscriptions calling for Sowore’s release.
They appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to release their son from custody, saying they were beneficiary of his philanthropic works.
