Health Workers Commence Three-Day Warning Strike

Health workers under the auspices of Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) have commenced a three-day warning strike over unpaid salaries.

Members at the University Hospital in Abuja have joined the protest to make their demands known.

The protest rally is in compliance with the directives from the National Secretariat of JOHESU, asking members to commence a three days protest rally from 8 am to 12 noon each day, to press home
Topping the lists of demands at this time is the salaries of members for the months of April and May last year.

Salaries of members for those two months were withheld, on the basis of No Work No Pay policy of the Federal government.
