“I would like to say I would have won the SPL and other trophies with Rangers. With Nigeria, I just want to play in the biggest tournaments, like the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup.
“That would be like a dream come true. That is what I have wanted since I was a child and it would be good to say that I was part of that,” the 23-year-old told ESPN.
Aribo, who also won the League One play-off with Charlton Athletic in 2018, said choosing to play for Nigeria was a not a difficult decision to make as he had always wanted it.
“I had no hesitation.
“From when I was young I knew I wanted to play for Nigeria. So I was just happy to get the call up and it was the best decision I made really,” he said.
Aribo added that his energy and ability to get the ball from deep and driving it forward would be valuable to the Eagles.
