Lagos Task Force Arrests 77 Suspected Criminals In Midnight Raid

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force during Sunday’s mid-night raid in some parts of the State arrested 77 suspected criminals, including prostitutes.

Olayinka Egbeyemi, Chairman of the Task Force, who disclosed this, said the raid was carried out on the directives of both the government and State Commissioner of Police CP Zubairu Muazu.

 Egbeyemi said the raid was as a result of incessant complaints by residents of Akowonjo, Egbeda, Shasha, Iyana-Ipaja, Ayobo and Abule-Oki.

Also, he confirmed that six notorious  members of the dreadful ‘Awawa Cult Gang’ were arrested while their ring leader Tobi Akinsanya aka ‘Scorpion’ who was just released from prison is at large.

He said the agency is on his trail and that of his second in command, aka Body.

He assured that the agency will make sure all of them are rooted out and made to face the full wrath of the Law.
