Hamza Al-Mustapha, former chief security officer to the late military head of state, Sani Abacha, has revealed that he would have died in prison, if not for the prayers of the general overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Lazarus Muoka.
According to Al-mustapha, who was a special guest at the 17th anniversary of the church, Muoka brought the message of Christ to him in prison, and continued to intercede for him.
He said though he is a Muslim, he has continued to identify with the programmes and activities of the church, which he described as very spiritually enriching.
Archbishop Julius Ebiwe, President of the Council of Bishops in Nigeria, who represented Al Mustapha at the event, said the prayers and messages of the Chosen founder, are very powerful.
“Continue in that message, God is with you. All of us will meet in heaven. Continue to pray for me, pray for the whole country, Nigeria,” Al-Mustapha requested, noting that the miracle he received came through Muoka’s prayers.
“It’s Chosen that caused the miracle”.
Responding, Muoka, who said he was humbled by the encomiums, added:
“I want to specially appreciate your coming. We are happy to have you here. God bless you.”
