Liverpool have renewed interest in signing Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard. The youngster had been on loan at lower tier Castilla throughout last season. Reports say Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had been trying to sign the Norwegian for Dortmund while was the manager.
“Jurgen Klopp even spoke with me,” revealed Odegaard at the time.
“He introduced me to the club, told me what Dortmund think about me and the sporting opportunity they can offer me.”
“Liverpool have always been my dream club. But I will not let this affect my decision when I choose a new club.”
Liverpool are already in contact with Real about Mateo Kovacic, and reports say a decision could be made before the start of pre-season.
