Lockdown: Soldiers Punish Lagos Residents Exercising

Some residents of Gbagada, Lagos State, were punished by some personnel of the Nigerian army, after they came out to exercise, despite the lockdown order issued by the government.

A picture of the incident was shared on social media on Wednesday

The gym enthusiasts, who have violated the stay-at-home order for some days now, eventually met their embarrassing fate, after the soldiers stormed their workout session to intensify it by punishing them.
Some Lagosians flooded Twitter with pictures on Monday and Tuesday, lamenting how residents of the area, and Ikorodu, had been violating the order.

Hundreds of people were seen on the expressway in some of the pictures, exercising together, despite the warning by government, that community infection of Coronavirus is on the rise in the state.
