Romelu Lukaku reportedly fought with teammate, Marcelo Brozovic, after Inter Milan’s disappointing 1-1 result against Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
According to Italian newspaper, la Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku was not happy about his team’s poor performance against the Czech Republic side, and the former Manchester United star was said to have mentioned lack of impressive displays in the locker room after the game, telling his colleagues to always follow coach Antonio Conte’s instruction.
However, the report said Brozovic took Lukaku’s words personal, which he reacted to by challenging the Belgian. The two players were said to almost come close to a fist fight before they were separated by their teammates.
Lukaku arrived the club this summer from Old Trafford in a deal worth €65m. He has started well to life at the Italian club, scoring two goals in the Nerazzurri’s opening three games in the Serie A.
