Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee of £1.3 million with Inter Milan for their defender, Ashley Young.
Young, 34, was said to have stormed out of training last week to agree to a move with the Serie A giants.
The Englishman is out of contract at the end of the season, and has been free to talk to foreign clubs this month.
A pre-contract deal is believed to have been negotiated, but Inter were hopeful of bringing him in this month, despite United offering a one-year extension.
The Sun reports that Young rejected United’s offer, and was left furious during training last Friday, though it was not clear what was transpired.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had spoken to the media before the session, and confirmed that Young would miss the clash with Norwich, as he was not fit.
But Young was reportedly out on the training pitch before walking off to train in the gym on his own.
He is expected to travel to Milan today, or over the weekend to finalise the deal.
He could be the first of three Premier League signings for Inter this month, with Christian Eriksen close to finalising his switch from Tottenham Hotspur.
