Gambo Adamu, a patient medicine seller, had apparently heard the tale: “Jack of all trades, master of all”, and attempted to explore his newly found skill as a “medical doctor”.
He has, however, met his waterloo after operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Adamawa State arrested for allegedly operating an illegal medical centre.
Adamu was apprehended in Modire-Yolde-Pate ward in Yola South local government area, Sulaiman Nguroje, the Public Relations Officer, Adamawa State Police Command, disclosed this in an interview on Sunday.
According to Nguroje, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, the suspect had allegedly turned a medical doctor, to the extent of admitting patients in a three-bedroom apartment in the state.
“The suspect, Gambo Adamu, was apprehended on October 24, 2019, following intelligence report.
”According to first intelligence report, Adamu is a Patient Medicine operator but suddenly turned a three-bedroom house to a clinic and began admitting patients.
”The suspect is already charged to court while investigation continues,” Nguroje told the News Agency of Nigeria.
