Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, has denied reports that he and other teammates have issues with Antoine Griezmann.
The Catalan giants secured their first win in this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage, with a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan on Wednesday.
Inter took the lead through Lautaro Martinez within two minutes, before Luis Suarez’s brace gave the La Liga champions all three points.
After the game, Messi was asked about his relationship with Griezmann.
Reports had emerged in Spain over the summer, that the Argentine was not happy the club signed the France forward.
But Messi insisted that he is happy to play alongside the new signing, as well as other members of the team.
“We have no problem with Griezmann. Little little by little our relationship is growing,” Messi said.
“The relationship of the whole wardrobe is very good.”
Messi also expressed delight to have played full 90 minutes for the first time this season.
The Barcelona play maker has had a tough start to the campaign, with injury limiting his participation.
He assisted Suarez to score the winning goal on a difficult night at Camp Nou.
“I am happy to be able to play the first 90 minutes of the season.
“I felt tired, but well and wanted to finish the game to see if I start from once.
“For me it is very important to play games. It’s how I get ready, because with so many games we can barely train,” he added.
