Andimi was reportedly sighted boarding an unidentified vehicle on the day of the attack, and had not been seen or heard from since then, the District head of Michika, Ngida Zakawa, had said.
In a two minutes video, Andimi said the insurgents have been treating him well since he was taken into captivity.
According to him, blankets were among other items provided for his comfort.
Andimi, who noted that he still trusts God for his release, admonished family, friends and well-wishers not to cry.
He said God who made the insurgents treat him well, will also ensure he is released.
