NCDC Confirms 304 New COVID-19 Cases, Nigeria’s Toll Now 44,433

A total of 304 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed late Tuesday.

In a post on its Twitter handle, the centre said 90 of the cases were recorded in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 59 in Lagos State, 39 in Ondo State, 18 in Taraba State, 17 in Rivers State, 15 in Borno State, 12 in Adamawa State, 11 in Oyo State and nine in Delta State.

Four cases each were recorded in Bauchi, Kwara, Ogun and Osun states, three each in Bayelsa, Plateau and Niger states, two in Nasarawa State and one in Kano State.

Fourteen new deaths were also reported, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 910.

These latest cases bring the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 44,433, with the virus spreading to all 36 states and the FCT.

Below is a breakdown of the confirmed cases in the various states, according to the NCDC.
