Nigeria Retain Position In Latest FIFA Ranking

Nigeria has retained its 40th position on the latest ranking released by FIFA on Thursday, 4 May. The team had been placed on the same spot in April. They remain fifth in Africa behind Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon and Burkina Faso who also maintained their positions.

In the world ranking, the first 20 remain unchanged with Brazil still number one and Argentina and Germany second and third respectively.

However, there were changes with Madagascar climbing nine places up to 111th and Malawi soaring 14 steps northward.

The next Coca-Cola/Fifa ranking will be published on 1 June 2017.
