Nigerian Arrested With Drugs In Thailand

The police in Thailand have arrested a Nigerian, Charles Ndubuisi Umemma, during a drug raid in the country.

Umemma, 34, was apprehended in Bangkok’s Kapi district on Saturday, September 16. He has been charged with obtaining and possessing “ice” with intent to sell and send to Australia.

Chalermkiat Srivorakan, the deputy national police commissioner, told a press conference on Monday in Bangkok that Officers had so far this fiscal year confiscated 100 million yaba pills and more than 4000 kilograms of “ice” worth By 7.6 billion.

The police also disclosed that the Nigerian National has tried to send 120 grams of “ice” to Sydney.
