Nigerian Footballer Denies Having Ebola

Dele Adebola, former Birmingham City and Coventry City striker, has been forced to deny that he has the deadly Ebola Virus Disease EVD, independent.co.uk reports.


The Nigerian forward, who currently plays in the Northern Premier League for Rushall Olympic, has been constantly asked on Twitter if he has the disease because of jokes relating to his name.

After being asked ‘Have you still got it or not?’ for seemingly the millionth time, Adebola responded: “Guys please stop asking if I have ebola. I do not have it. But I thank you for caring about my health and wellbeing )” Adebola twitted. The death toll for Ebola has passed the 4,000 mark.
