Nigerian Police Arrest Goats

goatsPolicemen have arrested 14 goats in Ede, Osun state, in Nigeria’s south-west. The driver of the Mitsubishi car conveying the livestock was said to have defied police stop order, which led to a chase by a police team. The driver’s action had fueled suspicion he might be up to a sinister plot. By the time police arrived the vehicle was stationed, they found the driver had absconded. Osun Command Police spokesman Folasade Odoro said the goats would remain in detention until their owner showed up.
