Nigerian Student Drowns In Cyprus

A Nigerian student identified as Hassan Babatunde, reportedly drowned  at a beach in Alagadi-2 region in Girne, Cyprus on Wednesday afternoon.

It was reported that the Nigerian student recently resumed his schooling at Cyprus International University.

According to information on his Facebook page, Babatunde studied Computer Information Systems at Near East University before he transferred to Cyprus International University.

Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have beginning to react to his death on his Facebook page.

One of his friends, Bako Hazzanat said: “I Can’t not believe dat u have gone Tunde Hassan u re nice guy too me, will love u but God love u more. Rest in peace – feeling sad.”

Another of his friend, Helen Osaigbovo, “You have left and nothing can compensate for your presence but there is no one as special and as wonderful as you….I wish you could stay more with all of us…. you could spend more time and spread more happiness around you.”

For Compot Tayo, he said: “To my very wonderful brother and friend…Adieu …we love you but God love you most?? omo alhaja RIP.”

 Tisa Bethel Banda, another friend of the deceased wrote; “Hassan you can’t be…I’m Angry and sad at the same time. I don’t want to believe you gone for good No No – feeling sad.”
Also, Adetona Nofisat Olabisi wrote; “It a pity Case,Rip nd sleep at d right hand of Allah.”
