Nnamdi Kanu: Police Arrest Protesters In Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested supporters of Radio Biafra director, Nnamdi Kanu who staged a protest in the state on Tuesday. The protesters were arrested  at Arroma junction and various points in Awka, the state capital. They were said to have staged a march from Amawbia to the Government House. The police at the Government House were said to have dispersed the crowd with sporadic shooting and tear gas. Some of the them were also apprehended.

Recall that a similar protest was staged in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on Tuesday in support of the Radio Biafra boss who was arrested in a hotel on Saturday on arrival from the United Kingdom where he is based.
