Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, the traditional ruler of Loko, Nasarawa State, has said nobody will be allowed to speak with Muhammadu Sanusi II, deposed emir of Kano.
He revealed that the deposed monarch arrived his palace at 3am, Tuesday morning.
“Yes, Emir Sanusi is in my palace. He arrived this morning around 3 a.m., but no one will be allowed to speak with him,” Sabo said.
Sanusi was banished from Kano and sent into exile in Nasarawa following his dethronement on Monday by the Kano state government led by Abdullahi Ganduje, the state governor.
The development had sparked reaction across the country with many sending encouraging to the former monarch.
