Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, his wife, Edith, and their daughter have all tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Governor Okowa announced this in a post on Twitter on Tuesday, two weeks after he confirmed that he and his wife had tested positive for the virus.
The governor expressed his appreciation to God and all persons who prayed for their recovery.
He also appealed to all residents of the state to respect the COVID-19 protocols in order to curb the spread of the virus in the state.

He joins his fellow governors, Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna State), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia State) and Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), who have recovered from COVID-19.
