PDP Protesters Flood Akure Over Jimoh Ibrahim’s Candidacy

protest-ondoPeoples Democratic Party, PDP, supporters have flooded major streets in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, over the candidacy of Jimoh Ibrahim as the party’s candidate. The protesters were seen on Oba Adesida Road, Oyemekun Streets and other major streets in the town. Our correspondents reported that members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, in Akure, were seen making bonfires on roads in the state capital while shop owners are instructed not to open their shops.
