Police Arrest Killer Of 2006 Gulder Ultimate Search Winner

The Lagos state Police on Tuesday, arrested Ismaila Adeyemi, 49, the suspected mastermind and killer of Hector Jobateh, the winner of the 2006 edition of Gulder Ultimate Search, GUS show. Hector, in September 2, was shot dead in his residence at New Oko-Oba in Agege. He had gone out that morning to pick a relative from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, when assailants trailed him from the airport to his home, where they eventually opened fire on him. ASP Olarinde Famous Cole, the spokesman of the Lagos state Police Command said Adeyemi was arrested  at Gas Line Ominiyi in Ijoka area of Ogun state. Famous-Cole said the suspect confessed to the murder and other crimes he has been involved in, while other members of his gang have been apprehended. The state’s Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi has ordered that the suspect be charged to court immediately investigation is concluded. The CP stressed his commitment to purge the state of criminal elements and urged residents to always come forward with useful information that would assist the police in discharging their duties.
