Police Release Arrested #RevolutionNow Protesters In Abuja

Police have released over 60 #RevolutionNow protesters arrested in Abuja on Wednesday.

Their release was announced by Deji Adeyanju, an activist, on Twitter.

The protesters who were coming from Mararaba axis of the federal capital territory (FCT) were arrested around the Unity Fountain and whisked away in police vehicles.

Omoyele Sowore, an activist, is the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest. He started the movement in 2019, saying it is an action against bad governance and corruption in the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
