Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reduced their price tag for Neymar, to facilitate a swap deal with pay to Barcelona, a report says.
Neymar joined PSG from the Spanish club in 2017 for a world record fee of €222 million.
The 27-year-old has impressed at the French champions, scoring 51 goals in his 58 appearances, but has not been able to bring them success in Europe, among other issues.
Reports have linked him back to Barcelona, where he spent four seasons from 2013 to 2017 after leaving Santos in Brazil.
According to Daily Express, instead of a €300 million fee, the Ligue 1 side will accept an offer between €130 and €150 million, alongside two key players in exchange from the Catalans.
Spanish publication, AS, stated that Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti could be released to move in the other direction to France.
The future of the three players has been uncertain, and they have been linked away with moves this summer.
Edison Cavani, Neymar’s PSG team-mate, speaking on Neymar’s desire to leave the club, wished him good luck for the future.
He said: “I do not know what will happen, but as I said, I wish the best for him. I spoke with Neymar about his situation when we were in France.
“Now, during the Copa America, no, we do not talk, and with everything that is happening, I would say that he knows exactly what he should do. I know it’s a difficult time for him, Neymar has the charisma and ability to move forward.
“I hope he recovers, I wish him the best and he recovers [from injury] as quickly as possible.”
Neymar was ruled out of the 2019 Copa America for Brazil through injury.
