AS Roma midfielder, Luca Pallegrini, is on the verge of joining Juventus, after undergoing medical at the club ahead of his €10 million transfer deal.
The 20-year-old left-back is expected to sign a five-year deal in the switch that will see Leonardo Spinazzola move in the opposite direction.
Pellegrini, Italy Under-21 international, spent the second half of last season on loan at Cagliari, where he made 12 appearances in Serie A.
His transfer to Turin will give Maurizio Sarri options at the full-back, after the former Chelsea boss decided not to retain Spinazzola, who struggled for first-team shirt under Massimiliano Allegri last season.
Spinazzola, 26, completed a medical with the Giallorossi on Saturday, and could serve as a successor to right back, Alessandro Florenzi, who has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Pellegrini would soon be followed to the Allianz Stadium by Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, on a free transfer.
According to Goal.com, Juventus have reached an agreement with Rabiot, after the player refused to sign a new deal with PSG.
Rabiot will also sign a five-year contract with the Serie A champions, which will see him earn €7 million per season.
In addition, Rabiot’s mother, Veronique, who serves as his agent, will pocket a commission of €10 million.
Fabio Paratici, Juventus sporting director, traveled to Paris on Friday, in order to conclude negotiations and ensured a framework for the deal was reached.
