Borrusia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho, has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal with Manchester United, a report has revealed.
Sancho has put pen to paper for personal terms worth £340,000-a-week salary with the Old Trafford club, according to Bild.
The report, however, noted that the structure of the transfer needs to be agreed before the move is made official.
Dortmund on Monday gave United a 10 August deadline to conclude their move for the England international.
Asked on Tuesday about United’s move for Sancho, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer kept his cards close to his chest.
‘This transfer window is a long one. Every transfer takes its course. It is what it is, so if there is any news we will update you,’ Solskjaer said.
Dortmund are insisted on their £108 million valuation of winger Sancho, which would see them make a staggering profit having signed him for just £8m from United’s arch-rivals, Manchester City, in 2017.
Negotiations are still ongoing but are expected to be finished within the next week.
A fee of £108 million would see the 20-year-old become the most expensive player bought by an English club, eclipsing the £89m United paid to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016.
It would also see Sancho, who will get a reported £150,000 pay rise to join United, become the club’s second-highest paid player behind goalkeeper David de Gea.
