Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, is preparing to get married this weekend, but the Spaniard has reportedly left his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, out of invited guest list.
Ramos and long-term partner, Pilar Rubio, who is a Spanish television presenter, will be getting married at the famous Seville cathedral on Saturday.
But the former Sevilla player, who has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell with Madrid, has left out his former club-mate of nine years out of the event meant to be attended by biggest names in football and showbiz, according to Spanish publication, Marca.
David Beckham, who played alongside Ramos for the Spanish giants, will attend, as well as Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique.
The report suggest that the fall-out between the duo occurred following Ronaldo’s switch from Madrid to Juventus last summer.
The former Manchester United forward opted to quit the Bernabeu before the start of last season, after winning three successive Champions League crowns.
It is claimed that Ramos and his soon-to-be wife have invited 500 guests to their wedding, which has been dubbed “the wedding of the year” in Spain.
Australian rock band, AC/DC, have been booked to performed at the after-party, which is set to cost the couple close to £900,000.
Real coach, Zinedine Zidane, and president, Florentino Perez, are also on the guest list.
It is also understood that ex-club goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, will also attempt to make the occasion, following the heart attack he suffered.
