Soldiers Invade Rivers Commissioner’s Home, Arrest Family (Watch Video)

A video of the raid on the residence of Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja, the Rivers State Commissioner of Education, has surfaced online.

In the video, about five people are seen running in a direction as soldiers stormed their GRA Phase 3 home in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Gogo-Jaja and his family members were later whisked away by the soldiers.

TheCable reports that the incident happened on Wednesday.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state condemned the incident, saying the army has “been dragged into full-time politics”.

But Musa Sagir, army spokesman disagreed, saying the military would remain apolitical.
