UNIABUJA Students Protest Member’s Death

Some Students of the University of Abuja, Monday, blocked the Airport road to protest the death of a female student. The development caused a major gridlock on the axis, report says.

The protesting students reportedly swarmed the road in their hundred, blaming the school authority and the Federal Government for not providing pedestrian bridges to prevent such incident.

The unnamed deceased, a 200 level student of the institution was allegedly knocked down by a speeding vehicle Sunday night. The former alongside four other students, who sustained injuries, is said to have tried to evade some robbers.

It was gathered that the incident happened in front of the school gate.
