W/Cup Qualifier: Rivers Govt. Promises Eagles $20,000 Per Goal

Rivers State Government has promised to pay the Super Eagles $20,000 for every goal scored against Swaziland in their World Cup qualifier match in Port Harcourt. The Secretary to the Rivers Government, Kenneth Kobani, made the promise known to the team on Monday during the team’s training.

Recall that the Eagles laboured to a goalless draw in the first leg of the encounter in Lobamba, Swaziland.
