If you have been having difficulty concentrating during the day or your kidneys and digestive system not functioning optimally, or you feel your energy level is low, then it may be as a result of not drinking enough water.
According to a Sydney based medical expert Dr. Dasha Fielder, adults should take in between 2.5 litres and 3 litres of water daily so as to help hydrate the kidneys, rejuvenate the skin, improve brainpower, flush out toxins among other benefits.
According to her, humans lose a lot of water when they consume caffeinated drinks and through sleep, especially overnight, and so there is the need to replenish what is lost constantly.
